What is NDI?

NDI, which stands for Network Device Interface, is an IP video technology developed by Newtek. The goal of NDI is to make broadcast video easy to transport over computer networks. SuiteCG’s graphics are transmitted natively as an NDI source, allowing key-and-fill (video with transparency) graphics to be available to any production hardware or software with NDI receiving technology. How Does SuiteCG Pricing Work and What Sports are Included?

Where CGStatLink (SuiteCG’s predecessor) was a collection of stand-alone programs tailored to a single sport, SuiteCG MultiSport Scoreboard is a flexible application designed to accommodate many two-team sports. Customers pay a single licensing fee to activate MultiSport Scoreboard for a specified number of days.

While the MultiSport Scoreboard module is licensed, you will have unrestricted access to all sports currently supported. The number of sports supported will grow in time and will be available to all users at no additional cost.

SuiteCG MultiSport Scoreboard pricing and currently-supported sports can be found here.

System Requirements

As with any computer software, performance will vary based on hardware specs, and whether you intend to use only the XML/CSV data outputs vs the built-in graphics system. If using the built-in graphics, resolution and frame rate will be factors in system performance.

If using SuiteCG’s graphics system, we recommend, at minimum, a computer with the following specs:

Windows 10
Intel i3 2.4GHz
16GB RAM

However, for better performance we recommend something with a little more horsepower:

Windows 11
Intel i5 3.0GHz or higher
16GB RAM
Touchscreen

If using a software-based production program such as Wirecast, vMix, xSplit, etc… we HIGHLY recommend running SuiteCG on a separate computer from that production software.

Activating and Deactivating a License

Licenses are activated through the License Manager. In the License Manager, click on the module that you want to activate and enter the License ID and password that you received on your emailed invoice. Once activated, you can use the module without restrictions.

A license can be active on only one computer at a time. From time to time it may be necessary to migrate a license from one computer to another. There are two ways to deactivate a license from an installation.

1. SuiteCG License Manager: From the License Manager you can simply click the Deactivate button. This will deactivate the License ID on that computer. You are then free to enter that same ID on another computer.

2. Customer Portal: If your previous computer died or was stolen, you can log in to your Customer Portal account. Once logged in, select “Licenses & Activations” then select the license ID in question. From the License Details page select “Manage Installations.” From here you can see the activation history for the license, and deactivate a specific installation. This will free up the license for activation on another computer.

While running, modules will periodically check in with the SuiteCG licensing system to check for activation status.
